Reports of SC/ST legislators visiting New Delhi to meet the Congress high command are false, said Minister Satish Jarkiholi in Hukkeri on Tuesday. “There have been some media reports stating that Dalit community leaders are planning to visit New Delhi to meet senior leaders to discuss party issues. Shivakumar demanding that he becomes the Chief Minister, Mr. Jarkiholi said there was nothing wrong with this. To another query, Mr. Jarkiholi said he would prefer a holy bath in the rivers in his neighbourhood, rather than a visit to the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.
