
Gurukul teachers to be trained on students’ mental health
The HinduTeachers of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society will undergo a two-day workshop on mental health skills to help students efficiently deal with anxiety and depression. According to Secretary TGSWREIS Alagu Varshini, the main objective of the training is to establish a more meaningful emotional connect between teachers and students, improve the mental health of students, and help them perform better in education. Hence, first teachers will be trained on mental health and behaviour pattern of students, with a solution-oriented approach,” she said. The workshop will focus on psychological development and emotional awareness, emotional mapping and behavioural analysis, emotional regulation exercises, and preparing teachers with strategies to deal with students’ overall mental well-being.
