Even if 1000 Modis came to Karnataka, it won't work: Ex-CM HD Kumaraswamy
India TodayFormer Karnataka Chief Minister and JD leader HD Kumaraswamy on Friday said the ‘Yogi model’ will not work in Karnataka and the BJP is a disaster to the state. His remark comes a day after chief minister Basavaraj Bommai said he would follow the 'Yogi Adityanath model' to curb incidents of communal violence if the situation demands. Kumaraswamy mentioned the bulldozer incidents in Uttar Pradesh and said, “If they bring that culture to Karnataka, BJP will be uprooted from the state and thrown out.” Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bommai addressed a press conference on Thursday and said, "Yogi Adityanath is the correct chief minister to handle the situation in Uttar Pradesh." POLICE ARREST TWO ACCUSED Mangalore police on Thursday arrested two people identified as Shafiq Ballere and Zaqir Savanuru, in connection with BJP worker Praveen Nettaru's murder case.
