Manipur News: Curfew Imposed Across 7 Districts, Internet Services Suspended | ABP News
ABP NewsThe National Investigation Agency has taken over three cases related to the recent violence in Manipur. In the Jiribam district, militants killed three women and three children, which led to an angry mob attacking the residences of three state ministers and six legislators. Meanwhile, the National People’s Party withdrew its support from the BJP-led government in Manipur on Sunday, claiming that Chief Minister N. Biren Singh’s administration had completely failed to resolve the crisis and restore normalcy in the northeastern state. Authorities reported that a mob set fire to the residences of three BJP legislators and one Congress legislator in various districts of the Imphal Valley, while security forces thwarted an attack on the ancestral home of Chief Minister N. Biren Singh. The NPP stated in a letter, "We feel that the Biren Singh-led Manipur government has completely failed to resolve the crisis and restore normalcy."
