New Technologies Tested to Protect Troops from Blast Injuries

The US military is testing new technologies to protect troops from brain injuries caused by blasts during training exercises. The new technologies include blast sensors and reshaping of explosive charges to reduce the amount of blast overpressure. The military is also evaluating a number of blast sensors on the market to get them out across the force in the next couple of years.
