Bigil in trouble: Meat shop owners trash Vijay poster. Details here

Almost all the films of Vijay face problems before they hit the silver screen. Now, Bigil, his upcoming film with director Atlee, is facing the backlash for allegedly portraying the meat sellers in a bad light. On Monday, Gopal, a meat seller from Coimbatore, took Bigil's poster to Ukkadam police station and started to tear it, which created unrest at the office. According to a report published in a Tamil website, Gopal and many other meat sellers are against the poster as it hurts their sentiments and portrays them in a bad light. In a petition to the district collector, Gopal has said that the poster features Vijay with his leg on the wooden slab and butcher knife that meat sellers use to cut the meat.
