Revanth Reddy urges Modi to sanction Regional Rail Ring project akin to RRR

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sanction Regional Rail Ring project akin to Regional Ring Road for the overall development of the State. Speaking during the inauguration of Cherlapalli new railway terminal, he said 60 per cent of Telangana would become urbanized if the Regional Rail Ring Project was taken up. Thanking Modi for inaugurating the Cherlapalli terminal, he urged him to sanction a dedicated railway line connecting the proposed dry port to give boost to industrial park especially automobile industry and added that Telangana has become a hub for pharma industry. Revanth Reddy also requested the Prime Minister to sanction Vikarabad-Krishna railway line to meet the area’s transportation needs.
