HYDERABAD: Following BRS working president K T Rama Rao's remarks about Priyanka Gandhi being a political tourist the day before her visit to Hyderabad, TPCC president and MP A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday asked the BRS minister to bow before Priyanka Gandhi in recognition of her mother Sonia Gandhi's efforts as UPA chairperson to grant Telangana separate statehood. Rama Rao must bow before Priyanka Gandhi and touch her feet," Revanth remarked. Revanth also lashed out at Rama Rao stating that he was in no way associated with the Telangana movement and that his name was “borrowed from Andhra” and he did his education in Guntur. Responding to his suggestion that Priyanka uses her trip to Hyderabad to learn about developments in Telangana, Revanth questioned Rama Rao rather sarcastically about the issues that need to be studied, whether to learn from the struggles faced by the farmers, TSPSC and SSC paper leaks, 3,000 liquor stores, or 60,000 belt shops in Telangana.
