The Malayalam film industry was still reeling from the untimely demise of screenwriter-director Dennis Joseph on Monday when they heard the news about the death of screenwriter-actor Madampu Kunjukuttan on Tuesday. MADAMPU KUNJUKUTTAN DIES OF COVID-19 After dabbling in several professions, Madampu ventured into screenwriting with the Malayalam film Ashwadhamavu in 1979. Known for his work as a screenwriter in films like Makalkku, Gourisankaram, Saphalam and Desadanam, Madampu was diagnosed with Covid-19 and on Tuesday, breathed his last at a private hospital in Thrissur.
