A woman sustained serious injuries after she jumped off a running express train at Banda station in Uttar Pradesh in a bid to catch bag snatchers. The woman, who is currently hospitalised, was travelling in an AC coach in Maha Kaushal express when a group of miscreants tried to steal her bag on late Wednesday night. When the woman protested, the thieves manoeuvred her in the darkness and tried to escape by jumping out of the running train.
