Data concerns emerge over smart meters

In a rare act of bipartisanship in what could be the last sitting week before a Federal election, the Coalition backed Labor's bill that also enshrines legal rights for aged care recipients. CEO of Peakbody Group, the Aged and Community Care Providers Association, Tom Symondson, says it will relieve financial pressure that's been building on the sector for a long time. And she's reaffirmed a $4.4 billion package announced in September to tackle gender-based violence, including nearly $200 million set aside to support the safety of First Nations women and children.
