Foundation stone laid for 12 courts as on ‘Kuthirai Vandi Court’ campus

The ‘Kuthirai Vandi Court’ campus near Coimbatore collectorate is getting a makeover as District Judge G. Vijaya on Monday laid the foundation stone for a new court building. Court sources said that a five storey building will come up on the premises of the ‘Kuthirai Vandi Court’ aka Old Labour Court. The Combined Court Complex situated on over seven acres houses more than 50 courts, chambers of judges, judicial offices, public prosecutors’ offices and bar association among others. District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabakaran, Deputy Commissioner of Police N. Devanathan, lawyers and court staff were present at the foundation stone laying ceremony.
