AgustaWestland VVIP chopper case: Delhi court summons Christian Michel's business partner on 9 May

New Delhi: A Delhi court Saturday summoned David Nigel John Syms, an alleged middleman and business partner of British-national Christian Michel, a co-accused arrested in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper case. It also extended by two days the Enforcement Directorate custody of Sushen Mohan Gupta, an alleged defence agent arrested by the agency in the case. The agency had earlier told the court that Michel received €24.25 million and 1,60,96,245 pounds from the AgustaWestland deal. The ED, in its charge sheet filed against Michel in June 2016, had alleged that he had received 30 million euros from AgustaWestland.
