Bengaluru Commissioner Assures Justice to Victim Family in Murder Case

Dayanand on Tuesday praised the role of police officers in the exposure of the alleged murder of Renukaswamy allegedly by Kannada cine actor Darshan Tugudeepa along with his associates and assured the victim’s family to render justice to the bereaved family. At a press conference here, Dayanand said that had there been any lapses on the part of the police officers then the alleged murder case would have created hassles in the way and termed the murder of Renukaswamy, a resident of Chitradurga district, as a ‘heinous’ crime. It may be recalled that Renuakaswamy was alleged murdered by Darshan and his associates including his alleged girlfriend Pavitha Gowda and the murder is said to have occurred over ‘derogatory’ posts sent by the victim to Pavitha Gowda which is said to have infuriated the actor leading to the murder. Over the role of police officers, the Police Commissioner stated that the police officers have discharged their duties in an ‘impartial’ manner and gathered evidence on the alleged murder in a quick time.
