US President Joe Biden celebrated some of the finest contributors to American culture with the presentation of the prestigious National Medals of Arts and National Humanities Medals. The ceremony featured prominent filmmakers like Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee and Ken Burns, musical icons Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah, and many more. Three medals were awarded posthumously, including those to the late Selena Quintanilla and artist Ruth Asawa, chef-author Anthony Bourdain, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
